Safeguarding & Welfare

Putting swimmer wellbeing first

The safety and wellbeing of children and young people is central to everything InCAS does. The club is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where swimmers can train, compete, and develop with confidence.

InCAS follows the safeguarding framework set out by Scottish Swimming and has clear procedures in place to prevent harm, respond to concerns, and support swimmers and families.

Welfare Officer

InCAS has a designated Welfare Officer, whose role is to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for safeguarding or welfare concerns

  • Provide guidance and support to swimmers, parents, coaches, and volunteers

  • Liaise with Scottish Swimming or external agencies where appropriate

Contact details for the Welfare Officer are available on request or via the club’s official communication channels.
